Featured Artist: Ann Pimblott

At Lodgic, we love celebrating the creativity of our community. Local artists bring unique perspectives, talent, and heart to their work, and we’re proud to give their art a place to shine. Each quarter, we feature a different artist, turning our space into a gallery that reflects the vibrant spirit of Champaign-Urbana. This season, we’re excited to showcase the colorful, nature-inspired pieces of Ann Pimblott. 

Ann’s paintings are full of warmth, color, and a deep love of nature. In her own words, she shares what inspires her and how she approaches her art: 

“I have loved to draw and paint since I was a child and come from a family of artists. My son encouraged me to experiment with abstract art a few years ago and I enjoyed the process so much it became my preferred art form. My practice is intuitive, I like to build up layers of paint, collage, pen, and pencil to express my feelings and the meditation of my heart. I am inspired by nature and enjoy using colors that express joy and lift the spirit.”
